Nicolas E. Morales
Firm Owner
Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Nicolas "Nick" Morales moved to Texas with his parents when he was only four months old. Although he wasn't born here, he got here as fast as he could. Calling DFW home for his entire life, he attended Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a double minor in Political Science and Religion.
Nick always knew he wanted to be an attorney, and knew that he wanted to call DFW home forever, so he took the opportunity of law school to live out of state. He went to Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington where he obtained his Juris Doctorate. While at Gonzaga, Nick was the Student Bar Association Representative for his class, as well as the Executive Lt. Governor for the ABA Law Student Division 12th Circuit. Additionally, Nick was part of the Moot Court Honor Counsel, served on the National Trial Team for Gonzaga, and won the Linden Cup his 2L year after presenting arguments in front of judges from the Washington and Idaho Supreme Courts.
His work experience includes internships with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, student-attorney for the Kalispell Tribe, a Clerkship with the Federal Public Defenders Office - Northern District of Texas, and 4 years practicing as an immigration attorney. He puts his experience as an immigrant to this country, and having personally gone through the Naturalization process, to better understand his clients' needs in order to provide quality legal representation.
In his free time, Nick likes to cheer on his beloved TCU Horned Frogs, all DFW sports teams, play the piano, and spend time with his wife, Fernanda.
